Scope of the Conference
The scope of this conference is solid state chemistry in the broadest meaning, including results of various experimental and theoretical methods applied in investigation of solid state substances.
The Organizing Committee cordially invites you to participate in the forthcoming Conference on Solid State Chemistry, 8th in the series, and present your latest research findings in the field of modern solid state chemistry.
The 8th Conference on Solid State Chemistry - SSC 2008
is free continuation of the previous Conferences on Solid State Chemistry, held biannually in the Czech and Slovak republics. It is endorsed by the three organizing institutions and by the Slovak Chemical Society, Slovak Clay Group and Slovak Silicate Society. The scientific program of SSC 2008 will comprise sessions: Synthesis & characterization of materials; Crystal, electronic & magnetic structure; Electrochemistry & molten salts; Chemistry of glasses; Novel inorganic materials & nanomaterials; Layered compounds, clathrates & intercalates; Deposited films & surface chemistry.
" IUPAC sponsorship implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists provided application is made not less than three months in advance. If a visa is not granted one month before the meeting, the IUPAC Secretariat should be notified without delay by the applicant."
A scientific symposium POLYMER DERIVED CERAMICS co-organized with Marie Curie Research Training Network PolyCerNet will be organized within the SSC2008.
